Fortunately for me I had a good primary care physician who prescribed me my meds for 3 months but since the meds were above the level of her ability to prescribe it put her license in jeopardy. This put me in a very uncomfortable and awkward situation because as you should know once your files are submitted from one pain management to another then you are discharged from the previous pain management whether or not you are in good standing with them. I even offered a compromise and asked them what would they be willing to prescribe me if I were to drop down because I want to come off my meds and they were completely unwilling to help. I tried to get accepted as a patient but they said I was on too high of a pain regiment from my previous pain management Dr., who was in Atlanta and I live in Winder, for me to be accepted. If youre looking for good pain management I would not go here. The only people that made me feel welcome were the gentlemen that took my vitals at the beginning of the visit and the clerk who checked me out and arranged scheduling of my next appointments. I understand they deal with people looking to take advantage of them and abuse drugs but for some one who was truly seeking help for pain, my experience here was second-rate.
I was made to feel like I was drug addict looking for a fix. Which to me shows a complete lack of professionalism. The doctors lab coat had tattered and frayed cuffs.
They did not seem to be well cleaned or maintained. There were greasy hand prints/marks on the exam table and the exam rooms had unkept floors. This is not a good look when the receptionist is the first person the patient comes in contact with. She came across as snippy and dismissive. As posted/stated with other reviews the office is lacking in several areas. There is no reason to give them even 1 star, other than its necessary to post this review.
